Equestrian & agistment
Foxes around foaling paddocks, rats in feed rooms and rabbits undermining arenas and tracks. None of it can be baited on a horse property, and that is what we are set up for.
Equestrian & agistment
Fox nights run around the outside of the paddocks with thermal optics, well away from stock. We never shoot across a paddock with animals in it, so horses settle quickly.
Rat shooting inside stable blocks and feed sheds is a two-hour evening job with air rifles and subsonic .22, and it is the most common booking from Balnarring, Merricks and Moorooduc agistment properties.
Rabbit warrens under arenas, tracks and fence lines are mapped so you can have them ripped before the surface collapses.
Common questions
We work from the outside of the paddocks and never shoot across a paddock with stock in it, so horses usually settle quickly.
Yes. That is our most common horse-property booking: a two-hour evening visit with air rifle and subsonic .22, no baits.
We time fox nights to foaling season and map dens near the foaling paddocks for a follow-up.
What we control
No baits, no poisons, no risk to your dogs or stock. Every animal is identified through a thermal scope before a shot is taken.
Night thermal sessions timed around lambing, kidding and poultry losses. Dens located and mapped for follow-up visits.
Spring & autumn peakSmall-calibre work around warrens, dams and vineyard rows. Warren locations logged so you can rip or fumigate later.
Year-roundFallow, red and hog deer damaging fences, vines and pasture. Carcasses removed or dressed on site where you want the meat.
Game Licence heldPositive ID only. Collared, ear-tagged or neighbouring pets are never targeted, and we work with the Shire's cat rules.
Bush-edge propertiesShooting around stables, hay sheds, chook pens and feed rooms where baits are a danger to dogs, horses and owls.
Bait-freeWhere we work
From Mount Eliza to Portsea and across to Westernport. Night sessions are usually booked within a week of your assessment, and properties close to townships are handled under our Public Place Permit with local police notified before every job.
How it works
Free daytime visit. We walk the boundaries, find sign, map safe firing lanes and neighbours, and agree a plan with you.
Landholder authority signed and police notified. You don't chase anything.
Thermal optics, typically 4 hours from dusk. Every shot taken with a clear backstop and positive identification of the target.
A short tally and a map of dens and warrens the next morning, with a recommendation on whether a repeat visit is worth it.
Who you're dealing with
One licensed operator, not a franchise. You deal with the person who turns up, and the same person every visit.
Pricing
Your first night session is free. We want you to see the tally before you pay for anything. Travel anywhere on the Peninsula is included.
One free night per property. Multi-property and council or conservation-group work quoted separately. Payment on completion by bank transfer or card.
